i still don't have a cellphone. hassle. my parents told me that they won't buy me a new one unless i graduate. HASSLE. they also told me that if they ever find out i bought a phone on my own, that'll be it for a lot of other things. HASSLE, HASSLE!

oh well. some people are born with parents with very weird and illogical philosophies on discipline.

however, the rebel in me makes me want to buy a cheap phone and is willing to settle with a prepaid sim. hehe. makiki-share-a-load na lang ako sa cellphone ng dad ko without him knowing. hehe.

last June 12, i found myself singing "lupang hinirang" a second after i woke up. haha! but i wasn't really singing... i was actually still lying down, with pillows all over me, my eyes half-open, with half my face resting on a pillow, and i could just feel my lips moving -- silently whispering the lyrics of our national anthem. i literally just woke up. pero ang weird lang dun, ang unang kong inisip, kantahin 'yun. haha! what an inspiring way to show your nationalism! hehe.

but that was probably the only display of nationalism (if you could call it that) i did for that day. well, aside from hanging a small flag on our gate. throughout most of the morning, i tuned in to the funeral of ronald reagan and watched practically everything since his body arrived in california.

it felt really weird when my i saw my parents crying 'coz of the eulogies and the gun salutes and the songs and nancy reagan breaking down at the last moment. they even sang "God Bless America" when it was being played. haha! so much for nationalism.
