happy birthday to me! hehe.

just so that everyone knows, im not really a birthday kinda guy. actually everyone in family isn't. we don't really celebrate or even care about our own birthdays. what we normally do is just hear mass in the morning for thanksgiving and then eat either in a restaurant or in our house during either lunch or dinner, and that's it.

like today for example, we all heard mass at don bosco at noon then we ate lunch at greenbelt for just an hour and a half. three of my siblings had to go right away coz of work and my dad had a meeting na rin after lunch. my mom, my younger brother and i just walked around greenbelt for a while, bought some stuff then we basically went home na. i didn't even have a cake and no one even sang that 'happy birthday' song the whole day.

bitter ba?

trust me, im not. but i really do appreciate the people who greet me thru text or e-mail. it's nice to know that people actually remember your birthday (or actually natandaan lang nila kasi may isang tao na katabi nila at that time na sinabi lang sa group, haha!).

another thing, it's nice to know that im a year older. im now a bonafide 21-year old adult! haha! i used to look at people in their 20's as really old, mature, and 'up there'. and now that im one of 'em, i realize that it's no big deal. it'll still be the same old you. you just write down a different number when filling up the 'age' part in some form.
