the best game i've watched would have to be the 1999 finals when dlsu won over ust in overtime. it was the first time dlsu beat ust in the finals after the ust's 4-peat in the mid-90's. aldeguer rocked big time and was the hero of the game when he shot that triple that pushed the game into overtime.
game 3 of this year was awesome too though. after 3 quarters na malapit yung laban, lumamang kami ng 11 points sa fourth quarter only to be tied again with just 5 minutes left! aack! tapos down ng 2 points la salle with just 24 seconds left then casio gets in that triple! aaaahh! i feel like shouting again! then to end this great game, bola ng feu, miranda attempts under heavy defense but the ball rolls on the ring and doesn't go in, cardona gets the rebound and is fouled! haay... intense game i swear. you all know the story but i just had to type it.
there was a victory party the next night wherein the alumni treated everyone to free food! pizza for 5000 people, free wendy's burgers, zesto, nachos, ice cream. there was the usual bonfire and alma mater singing then the entertainment provided by the pops orchestra and barbie. i just loved it when they performed 'i'd rather be green than be blue'. so fun kahit hindi naman ateneo yung kalaban sa finals. kakatawa rin when i realized that it was the first animo party for everyone na 3rd year and below tapos in my case, i was attending my third animo party! haha! i never thought an animo party could ever make me feel old. the party ended a bit early though so i just went home right away since my family had a thing to do pa. 'til next time!
