everyone from the beautiful "south" of metro manila has probably heard one of their "north" friends say na probinsiya ang south. wala daw kasing buildings na mataas, wala masyadong pwedeng gawin, etc. i, for one, have defended our glorious suburban environment and lifestyle many times by saying that we have trees and the airport and they have payatas.

pero sometimes, i can't help but think that there's some truth to our being a probinsiya. i was driving around the village one day and here's what i saw:



ooohh... horse-y! horse-y! saya. it can't get more probinsiya than this. horses eating some lush grass of the vacant lot kind. hay. this is reinforced by the fact that there also goats in the vacant lots near our house. probinisya nga naman. at least may animal life diba?
