adios!

i just woke up and in a few hours i'll be leaving for malaysia. woohoo! i haven't even packed yet! ack. classic last minute preparation moment. it has finally sunk in to me, i guess, that i really am leaving for a different country to work. gosh. i still find it weird considering that i only graduated from college ten months ago and now, i'm seeing myself prepare for a life of complete detachment from everyone i know.

apart from family and friends... and the comforts of having a ya-ya... i will definitely regret some things with this trip of mine to malaysia. first, is that i'll be postponing an application to study in spain which i've been preparing for more than a year already. second, is a potentially BIG career in the call center industry. at the time when i got accepted kasi for this new job, i was applying for a supervisor position. third, and the biggest thing i will regret not doing before i leave is... fight in my boxing match!! grrr. all those hours of training with no chance to see the result! hasslehoff mehn!

however, sacrifices are necessary.

i'll be leaving with a lot of things in mind, missions to accomplish, and battles to be won. and just like any OFW, family is my biggest, if not only, concern.
