Life can't be good to you for too long. At a certain point, it takes a turn and everything wonderful that you feel is waiting for you in the future suddenly disappears. Like a beautiful glass creation falling down, breaking into a thousand pieces. Shattered and unrecognizable.
You stand there daunted by the responsibility of picking them up. An inevitable predicament. An attempt to recreate what could have been. The thousand shattered pieces. Not knowing where to begin. Or how. Like a child staring into the darkness, waiting for his father's hand to bring him into the unknown.
