SOME WORDS BEFORE READING THE POST: hassle! there's something wrong with blogspot. i can't seem to edit the text properly (as in walang 'bold' or 'italics' feature sa text. to add to that, di ko rin ma edit yung pictures properly. may problem din yung program (hello) that i use to upload the pictures). hay. wala lang. naiinis lang ako kasi i'm relatively OC when it comes to these things. oh well, bear na lang with the formatting and all.

HERE'S MY POST:

i think it's common knowledge at this point in time that after months and months and months of preparations, tapat once again does something for the history books.

for all those not in the know, the student council elections in la salle just ended and tapat (the political party i'm part of) just swept all the positions for executive board (top six positions) and got 5 out of 6 positions for college assembly presidents.

AMAZING. OVERWHELMING. SURREAL. INSANE.

up to now, i'm still stunned by everything.

i'm not gonna explain anymore how much of an achievement that is (for all those who don't understand the gravity of what has just happened in lasallian student politics), but i guess you just have to trust me... IT IS. such an achievement may change the way things go in terms of student representation in DLSU for a very, very long time.

in case i still haven't thanked everyone, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to everyone who helped out, campaigned, and believed. you cannot imagine how thankful we in tapat all are with the help that you guys extended to us, whatever it was. we shall be forever grateful.

THIS WHOLE EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN GREAT SO FAR and i'm sure that this election is the most memorable. to think, it's my tenth election in la salle! hehe. God is truly good. no one in tapat could have ever imagined this happening last january when we were all struggling to get candidates and preparing for the electoins. and as for me, he allowed me to end my five-year stint in tapat with a bang. and what a bang it has been. (senti nanaman ako! kadiri!)

RINKA ROMERO! your album rocks big time pare! six strings and a song. wow. it's practically the next best thing that ever happened to me recently (next to the elections). hehe. grabe! i was just in total awe when i was listening to it kanina in the car. perfection. your music strikes a chord in each of us.
