"de lata!" and other updates

i think my life has just entered a whole new level of boring. after two blog-less weeks, i find myself void of any interesting topic to write about. scary 'to kasi i usually see everything as something interesting. my days are usually spent at home which basically cuts me out from the outside world. to add to this, my cellphone line got cut so i can only receive texts and calls but never send any (for all those who text me, that's why i haven't been replying). in our oh-so-modern world nowadays, not having a cellphone that works properly can effectively isolate you from everything else.

i have, however, discovered the joys of the wonderful world called local tv (i can't watch movies or discovery all the time, right?). this has basically made my 'jologs' and 'kapamilya' levels to go up one notch since i can quote lines from shows like wowowee.

example:

willie revillame: "ang bangus, tilapia, at tuna ay mga uri ng ________?"

contestant: "DE LATA!"

patay tayo dyan.

although at least i was able to go out last weekend so my social life isn't exactly non-existent just yet. i was able to attend arnie and yla's grad party at grilla and jillian's grad party at sta. ana. i also watched pinoy rock band mayonnaise perform live at el pueblo together with zobel batchmates camille, ley, and charms. ka-batch kasi namin yung vocalist ng mayonnaise, si monty, and we went there to show our support. what was nice pa, other zobel peeps were there like brian t, rommel, dinggoy, aj z, anmi, and joanne so it was nice to catch up with these guys. i was also able to meet the vocalist of hale, another pinoy band, since kilala nina ley. apparently, sikat pala yung band na 'yun. i never knew lang kasi i only heard of them a week before that night. anyway, please visit www.mayomusic.com and join http://groups.yahoo.com/group/hale_music for more on these bands.
