because i'm lazy

word of the month: LETHARGY. i embody it. thus, a blog post for posting's sake. gone are the days that i had something different to do every 5 minutes. i miss it though.

MOVIES: watch x-men 3! this movie is amazing! one of those good-quality-for-entertainment-purposes-only summer movie. this movie rises above the rest though with a really bold plot. the plot is fantastic! either that, or i'm just easily pleased. the writer's sure knew what they were doing. unlike mi:3, which is good, but absolutely plotless. although it's better that poseidon. i know it's a remake, but what's up with that movie? a ship friggin' capsizes and the characters escape. wow.

WORK: i know i've said some good and bad things about my work before but after getting regularized a few weeks ago, i realized that work is actually pretty nice. it's relaxing. it's stress-free. it's detox time for me actually. in my 9-hour shift, i take calls for just an hour and a half, on average. the rest is free slash sleep time. explains the lethargy. oh yeah, i now officially have friends at work too so it's been good. lastly, hanging out with single moms who hate their cheating former husbands/partners can be really cool.

FITNESS: if i am not mistaken, this is the first time i've ever written the word 'fitness' in this blog... ever. things have definitely changed. i have officially lessened my boxing and i'm now trying to bulk up a bit. i realized that it's not healthy to lose weight forever. last time i checked, which was this morning, i'm now at 138 lbs. insane.

THINGS I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO: company summer outing at island cove this weekend. rainy days and spending them alone at home. the next few months because it'll determine which of those proverbial paths i shall take in my life. visiting mall of asia. the last two levels in spanish class before i officially graduate from spanish school after more than two years. having an insider at the spanish consulate in a few weeks time.

THINGS I'M NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO: rainy days and getting soaked while commuting to and from work.

GOODBYE YAYA: after almost three years on the job, one of our household helpers decided to call it quits and sail on the first boat back to cebu. awww. sniff, sniff. take note, before she came in, our family was averaging a new katulong every six months.
